Hi, I've suffered from social anxiety quite badly for as long as I remember. I get embarrassed about asking about really trivial things like asking someone for directions, asking a shop attendant about something in the store. I'd even get embarrassed if some stranger on the street made a comment to me about the weather! And I'm nervous talking to people on the phone, even with people I know.

Does anyone else experiencing a similar sort of thing?

Sometimes, but not really the same as you, mainly in loud environments, big crowds, been cramped, being sober and around drunk people.

If it is really bad, I just use a drug called XANAX and it works wonders.
