Bipolar 2 does it lead to bipolar one? Please help

So here I am posting again. Hey I have been diagnosed as bipolar 2 I am actually quite scared I have been having hallucianations when I am almost asleep My partner has to search the house for so called 'monsters' I believe even though I know it sounds strange that their are people or something in the house that are going to get me. I can hear footsteps and they don stop, till I get to sleep. Dont even know what is going to happen but I am still feeling a bit scared even though I know its a bit weird. And I had work and all I could think today was this quiet 'voice-which I know was me' it well me kept thinking I need to take an overdose one part of me really wanted to I have taken so many in the past. However the only problem is that my partner if they find me asleep and cant wake me up I will end up in hospital. I dont want that crap.
I am so scared if I have bipolar 1 then I dont know what to expect!
Fuck I rang caseworker today and she told me bipolar 2 can lead to bipolar 1. I dont know if I do have one or the other. I have had hallucinations before but thought thay were because of a med I took for sleep which I obviously reacted to!
It can be bought over the counter I should get it tomorrow and see if it does cause hallucinations then I will know!

Well IDK about I leading to II or vice versa but what it sounds like (from experience) that you have some psychosis going on. Sorry I couldn't give a better answer.
