sorry I haven't been around so much - back at work again *groan* , actually not really, loved it was down with the lil ones (5-7yr olds) teaching every morning this week, abolutely loved it - best week i have taught EVER! they were soo cute and i really really enjoyed their company - didn't get cross with them once and they had me in fits of giggles lots! teehee! made me think maybe i should be a lil more open minded about teaching down there more long term in terms of my career which has put a real spanner in the works as i always say i much prefer the older ones (8-9 yr olds being my comfort zone).

Anyways, other than work, been manically essay writing too - had 13 hrs sleep in 4 days, finally finishing it and submitting it online at 3.30 am on fri morning - oops! i completely re-wrote it on tues, started from scratch and interviewed someone else to write about. Actually glad i did as i think was a vaugely ok assignment by the end of it. My mate who read the 1st one and said it was a pile of shit basically, proof read my final draft and was really complementary so let's hope...

have another due in next fri tho - eek! wouldn't leave uni on fri tho til had finished it, just nee to sort out references and am done will not doubt re-read thro it and change bits but I am determined to enjoy the weekend. Spent the day in the sun today, shopping, picnic, drinking peer cider outside the pub - has been lush and really relaxed me feel more content by far - the came back and tidied flat too so happy about that as it was absolutely disgusting! still need to hoover but other than that done - yey!

Oh and got hair cut yest - it's very very short - can't even tie it up in a pony tail! altho everyone says it's really nice - even my sis who is always honest so that's good, it'll grow back anyways and it looks lots thicker now too altho sadly i prefer it curly to straight when this length - dammit i am agreeing with my family!! - haha!

and other news - got another 2:i for assignment i got back yest, same as other one so happy and a solid 2:i too - 68% when friends got in the 50s, but a bit disappointed, loved writing that one, put a lot of effort into it and took on the criticism from the first one. Feedback was nothing but positive - ending saying if i keep that standard of reflection up i will be an excellent teacher (yey! am going to enlarge that bit and frame it! teehee!!) only critism was style, but not why - just that i used the term 'many' too much and it's not academic.. ahh.. dunno i know am being a perfectionist but feel i have nothing to work on for one due in next week and really want to do well, being just 2% away from 1st is so frustrating, esp when was getting 80% consistently last yr! altho i have got more on this yr and i am developing as a practitioner at work which is far more important anyday than a bit of paper to say can write, it's actually doing it that counts...
