The word Mood means the emotional state prevailing at any given time. The word Mood is used in Psychiatry as Major Depressive disorder, Mania, Dysthymia, Cyclothymia etc. There are various Moods that are encountered in general practice like Depressed, Sadness, Anxiety, Fear and Anger etc. Patients visited with physical complaint with various mood disorders.
