    Angry country music

Why do people look at you funny, or laugh when you say you love country Music, or if you ask to play some country music.

It really pisses me off ... obviously these people have never really tried to listen to country music and if they do it goes in one ear and out the other.

Country Music is beautiful, it has meaning, and is so true to life.

I did not grow up with country music but over the last few years I have learned to love it.

    Thanks!

I listen to abit of everything but I own a rural Ute and I get some crazy looks when I listen to DOOF DOOF as I have a stereo in my ute that I have started to set up for DB comps. and DOOF DOOF from a "goat rooter" ute apparently just isnt right.

I take it in my stride..

Go Steve Forde, Adam Brand, Brooks & Dunn, Trace Adkins... amongst others..

Grew up around country music and lee kernaghan in particular. its something ill always like and if other people dont feel the same way thats fine, as long as they keep it to themselves. a few times ive got funny looks pulling up at lights with Boys from the Bush pumping out, thats when you just smile and wave
thing is like you said stegs, i get the same funny looks when i pull up in a rural 4x4 hilux with my dance/techno playing. what? im not allowed to listen to country in my ute, but i cant listen to techno either?

old country i like like willie nelson, merle haggard, johnny cash, kris kristofferson, hank williams, but the new country sound erks me, except for a few like the dixie chicks, well i guess that's about it, lol. i like that song with a country twist to it by kid rock of all people and sheryl crow, if you consider that country. now bluegrass i love.
