Helping victims of the earthquake in Haiti?
The earthquake in Haiti has killed so many people and so many more have had their homes destroyed and their lives torn apart. Is anyone donating to the earthquake victims or doing anything else to try and help? I donated money at the local store that was collecting donations but I feel like money isn't necessarily what they need. It seems so much money has already been donated to the Haiti earthquake relief efforts but the main problem is getting the supplies there into Haiti and getting victims treatment. What else can be done? Maybe we need to direct donations to hiring privately owned ships to head there with supplies and pay the actual people on those ships to go on shore physically and help. What do you think?

I see your point, but I'm not sure what else your average person can to do to help out unless you have the resources to do something the other larger charity organizations aren't already trying to do. Anyone that wants to donate money can do so online through the Redcross at http://www.redcross.org
