just been put on pills

i have only just been put on anti depressants. getting quite alot of side effects at the minute. nausea being the worst. this might be an odd question, but do people drink on their meds? im worried what it will do if i attempt it.

I do sometimes although it's not recommended because alcohol is a depressant and we take pills to become undepressed. Expect the effects to be intensified, including the hangover you might get. If you're having trouble with nausea you might reconsider it.
