I hate myself
I know I souldn't hate myself...but I still do. I look in the mirror and see the opposite of what people tell me I am. I try so hard not to hate myself so much its just so much easier to have that feeling than fight the thoughts swimming in my head...ya know?

Re: I hate myself
yeah i understand, have you tried therapy or even writing in a journal its good to get that stuff out of there and then write something positive maybe, you can also try replacing every negative though as soon as it pops up with a positive thought or snapping a rubber band every time you have a really negative thought, i hope i helped a bit good luck .

We are in the same boat.
Those techniques actually work, you just have to use them in the right way.

Re: I hate myself
uglyducky, guess what? You are not the form you see in the mirror. Regardless of your opinion of the beauty or lack of beauty of your form, or of others opinions, you are not that form. When we pass away and our forms remain as corpses, every form will be incredibly ugly. But we are never this form. Our true Self transcends the form. It is the life-presence that we really are. It is the presence in which you are conscious and think and feel, the presence in which you live. Find this presence, find your true Self. It's formless, and when you find it, the beauty or ugliness or your form won't matter much any more. Because you will know that your form is something that you have (a vehicle), not that which you are (the life-presence). Find your formless Self, find its perfect formless beauty, and your will love yourSelf and never hate yourSelf again.
