depressed
I'm feeling very alone. i have no one to talk to. there are only a few people i interact with online...and of those few people, i can only talk to one person...really honestly.
ive been crying a lot and just been feeling really depressed, lonely, and scared.
my disability court hearing is monday.....im so scared. then this saturday the attorney that is representing me is going to call me. im so nervous and anxious about both events.
my mom said if i dont get disability i will just have to rethink things and maybe go back to school or get a job. thats impossible..that defeats the whole purpose of trying to get on disability in the first place. i cant just go on my merry F*king way.
i just want to talk to someone who understands... someone who can tell be it will be ok (except no matter what, it is not going to be ok).....
im so sick of fighting this stupid mental illness. god, its been 13 years.
anyways, ....

Re: depressed
Hi, I was put on disability years ago...almost 20. I have heard that it takes a few tries now, but if you have alot of records behind you that prove from doctors that you are disabled, then I don't think you should have any problem. Of course, you need to be straight forward about ALL of the symptoms you have that are disabling..do not leave anything out. The more things that disable you that you can say will affect your ability to get disability. You have to prove to them that you are not able to work or even live with these disabilities. So, even though you are nervous, do not hold out on what you experience. You do have an attorney..that is good. I am sure that your attorney is guiding you on what to say. Good luck and let us know.
