    Hit a low

Hit a big low late last night. Had a big emotion filled talk with my partner about the future, then my best friend called me up in tears.

I flaked out on a good friend this morning because I slept so badly.

I'm considering going and buying a cheap bottle of wine so I can stop thinking about anything for a little while.

My life is a big f***ing mess because of depression and I hate it.

It sounds like you have a lot going on that may be adding to your stress level. I think one of the worst parts of feeling that depressed is the loss of hope. It seems like nothing will help but continuing your treatment is one of the best things you can do for yourself. When is your next doc apt.? You didn't give specifics on your argument, always remember that your partner may be angry but it is at your illness not you they still love you.

It wasn't an argument. I've been worried that we're not really suited to be together long term and once I start thinking logically about it, often it seems we really aren't and it makes me feel horrible. We managed to sort it out though, I thought that we work now and as long as we continue to work, hurrah, and if it ends that's sad but I learnt alot and enjoyed the time spent with them.

I don't see my doctor regularly because he is very difficult to see. I'm next seeing my pscychologist in two weeks I think.

I'm sorry to hear about your unfortunate night with your boyfriend and friend
Did you end up getting a bottle of wine or did you manage to find another way to take your mind off of your problem?
Remember that although it is easy to use alcohol to avoid your problems, it's not a very productive or healthy method.
I hope everything is alright for you now!

Didn't end up drinking no. I know it's not a productive or healthy method, but often when I'm in the sort of mood I was in then I don't want to be healthy or productive. Things are better now, thankyou =)

What was i thinking haha, you were having a down, why would you care about healthiness? Stupid of me I'm glad to hear you are feeling better now! I to usually turn to alcohol when I'm feeling down, although i do tend to be more down once i start drinking unless the atmosphere is good.
