a little down today

I saw my internist today for several different problems I'm having. First we talked about my gall bladder (I may need surgery), then my weight loss and how this should help my blood sugar come down. He said my blood pressure was good. We discussed my recent hospitalization for depression.

Then, I brought up the severe pain I've had for the last 3 weeks with my fibromyalgia. He said nothing. So I went on to tell him what was all hurting - neck, back, ribs and hands. He said nothing.

It's as though I became a non-person when I brought up my pain. He totally diconnected from me. I really felt less human today - and it makes me sad.
