hi everyone im new here and looking for some info and maybe a place to turn. im 28 live in australia and have suffered from depression, anxiety and ocd for the last 10yrs, up untill 3 yrs ago ive started getting paranoid thoughts and its very hard to know what is real and what is not. i started doing alot of excersize and weight training quiet smoking and drinking lost alot of weight n now in the best shape of my life now wondering what else i can do. ive been doing alot of research on ECT therapy and wondering if anyone on here has experienced this treatment and there opinions.

Welcome to the forum! I have the same 3 issues as you do. I had 9 ECT treatments 26yrs ago. They didn't help me too much, and I had some memory loss. But I have heard that it works for some people. For my OCD, I have done best on Prozac and ERP therapy. It worked really well for me.

ERP therapy cant say ive herd of that before ........ i was on luvox 400mg for near 10yrs untill i started getting bad side effects now on epillim, seroquel and pristiq but in saying that i have to come off pristiq cause every time i increase my dose i get bad head aches but i also can stop it now because i get bad withdrawl symtoms grrrrrr......
