Re: What do you do?
Im studying human movement so I understand the benefits that an active lifestyle can provide. I know that a lot of people think that it is just physical benefits that are seen- so many people forget the mental benefits that exercise can provide.
Just the simple act of socialising that exercise (in particular team sports) can provide is amazing. I know that many people aren't interested in sport, but it really does help mentally. Exercise can make you feel more relaxed, improve your sense of confidence and self-esteem, give you a chance to just laugh and have some fun.
It's important to remember that sport doesn't always have to be about competitive team sport. Walking out by yourself or with a few friends can still provide the same benefits.
Exercise really can help!!

Unfortunately, I don't have the inclination to exercise, which is a big downfall for me- I bloody well need to!

Re: What do you do?
I think it's really about finding a form of exercise that you're interested in and making it enjoyable. People don't realise but even something as simple as gardening can be considered exercise. Maybe try and incorporate more lifestyle activities into you're life- by this I mean try walking sometimes where usually you might drive, take the stairs instead of the lift, all these little things add up.
VAriety is a key too, no matter how interested you are in sport, doing the same thing over and over will get boring. I'd definitely recommend getting one of those fitballs- the possibilities are endless on those things and because they're so different, they make exercise fun. Just bouncing around can be fun and it will definitley help improve your core stability and balance etc

Re: What do you do?
I know its true... I just gotta get motivated.
When you're so low, anything is too much like hard work.
But, yes... whenever I am busy, either in the garden or whatever..I keep my mind off other problems.
Horse riding used to be my escape. I'd forget everything when I was out in the saddle.
Or walking the dog, or down at the beach...
Driving the Ute used to be great too...
Ooh, and apparently sex is good for the mind.

Re: What do you do?
Yeah know about the whole when ur low u dont feel like exercising but if u have someone to say hey lets go atleast u have some kind of motivator and execrise is ment to stimulate the hormones in the body the promote happiness and so forth. Love just walking down the beach or round the lake in one of our estates it helps clear the head and think things through and also is good exercise thats not too stressful. Also love swimming does the same thing and u can pick n choose on both how much or how little u want to do or how quickly or slowly u want to do it its up to u n how u feel.
