I know that if left untreated bipolar disorder can get worse but does anyone know if it changes? I am on meds that have been changed many, many times and still dont work but my illness seems to be different than before. I used to stay up for days or a week, no sleep and be paranoid and hallucinating. I still have issues of that sort but not as servere and not as often. I hear voices and am afraid but it tends to pass quickly. I am also depressed more often than not and even when I'm up I feel like crud. I just wondered if anyone knows if this is a normal cycle for this illness.
