Cymbalta - unpleasant side effect of sweating and over-heating
I've been on Cymbalta 60mg for a year. I do have the weird dreams, but it doesn't bother me at all maybe because I take Klonopin to sleep and that keeps you relaxed. But the side effect i HATE is that I'm always too hot. It's not that "time of life" either, so that's not it. It's just that I am always too hot. And if I'm not too hot, I get the chills real bad. Like my thermostat is only registering extremes. And when I get too hot, I sweat. I've never been a sweaty person. And it happens when I'm just active, not exercising, but just walking or moving around. The back of my neck and head will be soaked, my armpits, etc. Has anyone else ever had this side effect? And I'm trying to decide if I should change meds because of this. It's almost not worth it. Except for the fact that the Cymbalta helps my pain levels and depression. As Roseanne Rosannadanna used to say, "If it's not one thing, it's another!"

Re: Cymbalta - unpleasant side effect of sweating and over-heating
I've had the same side effects. I've kind of learned to just deal with it though, as I've been on Cymbalta for so long and had such harsh side effects (and benefits as well). I try to prepare for the sweat: keep a small towel in my bag, keep a cold drink with me, carry travel-sized deoderant, tissues, maybe some baby powder, and breathe. I've noticed that if I start sweating excessively, I start getting.really anxious, and then it just spirals downhill from there. So number one thing for me has been preparation and prevention.

you still have solutions. Have you tried to make the dreams go away and stop taking med. Have you tried to cast a spell to change the force of nature. Send me a pm for counselling

you can do this. Approach your dreams even if you scared of it. Scary dreams is like a chijd afraid of the dark.
