We can do it without therapists!
Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum. I used to be repeatedly beaten by my husband and I had serious personal and financial problems. I went to see many psychologists, but nothing seemed to work. They all did the same thing - I felt like that was my temporary hiding place, but at the end of the session I knew I had to get back to reality. It didn't work at all - the advice I was given was to leave my husband, but they didn't dare advise me about financial matters because they weren't proficient in that area (yeah right). Whatever, I talked to my sister about it and she offered me to move in with her, but she knew I needed a more permanent solution so she recommended me to write to her e-coach. That is a life coach who works mainly online. To tell you the truth, writing about my problems and myself was a lot easier than talking about it. Also, it is just 20 pounds per week for unlimited sessions! It's been two years since I started exchanging mail with Angela from elifecoaching.co.cc and I should tell you that she gave me the strength to stabilise myself financially and then divorce my husband! Honestly, there is no need to spend thousands on pointless therapy - therapists focus on dealing with our past problems and do little for the current, whilst coaches work for our future. I hope there are many more people who stop wasting their money and invest in their future! Thanks a lot, Angela!

Thanks for this post Angela, very much appreciated. I have been having the same problem with psychologists, I am getting no where. It is good to know I am not alone, because I get a bit of flack when I say the therapist is not working and I leave yet another one!
I will try Googleing elifecoaching and see what I get. Thanks again for sharing, Regards, Wood.

The problem with psychologisits is that I'm just a paycheck to them. After the hour's up they don't have to deal with my problems anymore. They never work, and I think that's why.

totally agree with all of you,
it's like they don't care a lot of our problems and i decided to stop going and my mom got mad at me 'cos i wasted "money for nothing".
sucks.
