Paranoid personality disorder
Paranoid personality disorder is a psychiatric diagnosis that denotes a personality disorder with paranoid features. It is characterized by an exaggerated sensitivity to rejection, resentfulness, distrust, as well as the inclination to distort experienced events. Neutral and friendly actions of others are often misinterpreted as being hostile or contemptuous. Unfounded suspicions regarding the sexual loyalty of partners and loyalty in general as well as the belief that one’s rights are not being recognized is stubbornly and argumentatively insisted upon. Such individuals can possess an excessive self-assurance and a tendency toward an exaggerated self-reference. The use of the term paranoia in this context is not meant to refer to the presence of frank delusions or psychosis, but implies the presence of ongoing, unbased suspiciousness and distrust of people.

Paranoid personality disorder is generally treated with psychotherapy. Cognitive-behavioral therapy is often effective in helping individuals adjust distorted thought patterns and maladaptive behaviors. Other therapy approaches includes group therapy and psychodynamic therapy.

Re: Paranoid personality disorder
I have a paranoid personality disorder. I have been tested and retested and I always have one. I never fought my therapist like all the other lies that are told about people with this disorder. What is so funny is that I will notice and comment on things at work that I see are going to happen (no not a psychic) just things that you can see brewing and they ALWAYS HAPPEN. People come to me and say, "I thought you were crazy, but you were right" "How do you know?". Maybe if you open your eyes instead of living in some kind of fairly tale world you will also see the deviousness of people.

Re: Paranoid personality disorder
Best ever post I could found on the topic. But there is a little issue. I think it can be considered disgusting.
I should discuss it with some friend first. I'll share it later.
