    Emotional disorders

I hope no one will mind me starting a new thread - the worst of the problems that I face wasn't really covered by the existing ones.

Does anyone else find that they experience extreme mood swings from the smallest of triggers - so that you can go from being happy to insanely angry in an instant, hands shaking, heart racing, kind of angry? Or one incident can transform something in your opinion from love to hate?

I really struggle emotionally, so much so that I avoid all forms of closeness now (friendships and relationships) because they always inevitably turn out the same way. I try very hard to control it, but can't seem to focus when these 'episodes' take me over. I'm waiting about 6 months for counselling - the psych guy thinks I may have some sort of personality disorder or autism (and I'm already on antidepressants), but so far all I'm able to do is get by and wonder what's wrong with me.

    Re: Emotional disorders

    Hi redperson,
I myself am bipolar and get irritable and have a quick temper when manic only not to the extreme you are speaking. But all of our symptoms are not alike. I used to have a friend that was also bipolar and her symptoms where more geared toward anger. She got into many physical altercations resulting from her short fuse and she used to cut herself. How long have you been dealing with these symptoms? Could they have anything to do with the antidepressant that you are on?

Emotional disorder happens in those person who are really sensitive and shy.Be friendly and do not think too much about the events of your life. Just focus on those matters on which you have to do work.Engage you self in healthy activities.

The people who are very expressive and bold usually, consider and called emotional. The emotional attitude goes back to age of child hood. These are some frustrations and deprivations of that age which makes a person a habitual of this.Any how the science says that it can be over come by having few discussions with patient. It can be dangerous because usually an emotional person is always willing to do any thing .
