Client Challenge & Project Overview

ALMAAHH (Advocates of a Latino Museum of Cultural and Visual Arts & Archive Complex in Houston) is building a landmark 25-acre cultural district in Houston's East End. Following an official city proclamation designating September 15th as "ALMAAHH Day," the organization had a prime opportunity to kick off Hispanic Heritage Month, elevate donor engagement, and expand community reach. However, executing an event of this scale presented significant operational complexity: visual branding was fragmented, messaging required standardization, and execution depended on orchestrating multiple external partners and internal stakeholders under a tight, unyielding deadline.

Blue People deployed a dedicated Project Management & Creative Pod to establish a unified visual identity and serve as the central operational engine for the event. Delivered across a 4-sprint timeframe (August 3 to September 24, 2026), Blue People's primary role centered on high-level project management and multi-team coordination across three distinct organizations:

  • SOSAMAS: Led PR initiatives, media outreach, and event copywriting.

  • Goodspero: Executed full on-site event media coverage (photography/videography).

  • ALMAAHH Core Team: Direct client leadership and executive alignment.

Utilizing Blue Surf, Blue People's proprietary in-house project management platform, the pod managed end-to-end logistics, authored the official ALMAAHH Day 2026 Branding Kit, and directed cross-channel social media deployment and community interactions.
