The client required a centralized platform to unify Houston’s fragmented ecosystem of events, businesses, and local experiences. Existing information was dispersed across multiple sources, making discovery inefficient and limiting tourism engagement. There was also a need to incorporate curated and influencer-driven content in a structured and scalable way, while ensuring consistency and real-time updates across the platform. This challenge arrived in preparation for the upcoming FIFA World Cup, where Houston is expected to experience a significant increase in tourism and digital demand. Without a unified platform, the city lacked the ability to effectively guide users both local and international toward relevant and timely experiences.
The solution integrates a centralized CRM to dynamically manage and update content across all sections, anchored by an interactive map powered by Attractions.io that serves as the core user experience layer. The platform was designed as a fully public experience, eliminating friction by removing the need for user authentication and enabling immediate user engagement.
