SenMe was founded on a meaningful core value: replacing algorithmic review platforms with genuine, trusted recommendations from family, friends, and close connections. The brand name itself was inspired by a natural everyday phrase: "Hey, send me your recommendations!" While the underlying product and mobile application were actively being developed by the technical team, SenMe needed an official logo, visual identity, and brand character to establish its market presence and define its brand personality from scratch. The team required an identity system that reflected their core values, one that felt approachable, authentic, human-centric, and premium while remaining highly functional across modern digital interfaces. Blue People needed to capture their vision and personal brand stories, translate them into a versatile visual identity system, and deliver market-ready brand assets.
Blue People stepped in as a branding and creative partner, executing an agile design sprint that harmonized the client’s vision with functional digital product requirements and UI aesthetics:
Strategic Discovery & Storytelling Extraction: Through deep-dive discovery sessions, Blue People identified core narrative anchors to guide the visual direction:
The "Bob" Directional Heritage: Honoring founder Sage’s late father, an avid world traveler whose habit of pointing out memorable sights inspired a direction indicator concept.
Human-Centric Iconography: Steering clear of generic digital icons in favor of organic, hand-drawn, directional elements that feel inviting, personal, and memorable.
Color Palette Elevation: Enhancing their foundational green and cream palette with vibrant secondary accent colors to add energy, warmth, and modern appeal while maintaining a sophisticated look.
Character Creation ("Bob the Adventurer"): Blue People conceptualized "Bob", a fluid, living brand icon shaped as a directional, stepping hand gesture. Bob embodies the curious traveler, adapting seamlessly across digital platforms and marketing collateral as a guide, adventurer, or relaxing companion.
Product Integration & Design System: Blue People ensured the new logo integrated smoothly with the mobile platform's user interface built by the development team, establishing a cohesive typographic hierarchy.
The Living Logomark ("Bob"): A dual-purpose visual mark that serves both as a clean wayfinding icon for UI navigation and an expressive brand mascot for marketing campaigns.
Real-World Versatility: Designed for effortless scalability across mobile app loading animations, billboards, merchandise (tote bags, coffee mugs), and digital campaigns.
Directional Adaptability: Built for horizontal, vertical, and reverse background placements, featuring directional flexibility for wayfinding media and promotional assets.
Cohesive Typography System: Reborn Grotesque for high-impact brand headlines paired with Manrope for clean, legibility-first digital interface body text.
Expanded Visual Palette: Retained the foundational luxury green while introducing warm accent tones to boost digital user engagement.
From Symbol to Brand Mascot: Elevated a standard logo request into a multi-dimensional brand mascot ("Bob") that anchors the entire user experience and promotional collateral.
Seamless Timeline Delivery: Delivered the entire branding system, character variations, and asset suite in 4 weeks.
Comprehensive Brand Assets: Delivered a complete, fully editable master vector package (.SVG, .AI, .PNG) including logo lockups, typography scales, and application guidelines.

Great brands are built on authentic human experiences. Blue People worked hand-in-hand with SenMe’s founders to translate their personal memories into a complete brand identity, from custom typography and color palettes to "Bob," a dynamic logomark and UI element. Through this collaborative creative process, SenMe evolved from a product concept into a fully realized, market-ready digital brand.
